Repository growth report?
Hi
We are now using v9 of One. I've been through the reports but I cant find a simple output for Total free space over the last 12 months so I can estimate when we need to add more repositories in the next 12 months. I have the estimates for when each single repository will run out, but not for the whole lot.
All I want is the historical figure for free space - but can't seem to find it.
e.g. these figures for the previous months.
Total capacity:
182.8 TB
Total free space:
37.9 TB
Utilization ratio:
79.27 %
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Repository growth report?
Hi Mark,
There is a Capacity Planning for Backup Repositories report which shows number of days left for each repository.
If you want use the repositories altogether, I`d suggest to combine them into Scale-Out Backup Repository.
As for Veeam ONE, we may include the "Total" information about repositories into the report, but that may be deceptive if we say, "You have 400GB left among your repositories", which in practice can be 100GB of free space on 4 repos and despite you have 400GB of free space, it will not fit even 150 GB backup file.
What do you think?

Hi, is this a Veeam One v9 or do you need VBR v9 to run this report?

If you're referring to Veeam Backup Files Growth report, then another copy of this report is available for Veeam B&R v8. My previous post was just a sample of what you can get.

Re: Repository growth report?
How do I actually get this report to run? I'm new to Veeam ONE and the report doesn't exist in my workspace (running version 9.0). The link in your post shows the report, but the Veeam help just goes in circles. It says you need the report pack to get the report, and they have instructions on manually installing a pack, but I can't find a link anywhere to actually download the report pack.Shestakov wrote:Hi Mark,

Hello Clark and welcome to the community!
The pack of Backup reports will appear automatically once you add Veeam Backup Server to Veeam ONE Monitor.
