size of VM in backup file

Post by koenlu »

Hi,

is there a report in Veeam One that can give me the size of each VM in the backup files?
I want to know what the impact is of each VM on the volume of the repository.
something like:
backup job 1:
VM / total size / size in .vbk / size in .vib (.vrb)

thx
Koen

Hi Koen,

Have you considered Veeam Backup Files Growth report? VM Change Rate History report can also be useful.
Is that what you are looking for?

Thanks!

Individual VM size in the backup file cannot be retrieved, as there are many blocks that are shared between different VMs in the job (deduplication). If you want to see the impact, then change rate history report should be a way to go.
