Hello,
We are about to deploy VEEAM One instance for a large VSphere platform (10000+ VMs) and I was wondering if the use of an external DB with AlwaysOn capabilities was supported/recommanded.
So far I only noticed that SQL Server 2012 was supported, but no information about a Microsoft AlwaysOn support.
The purpose would be to have 2 physical server with FusionIO cards to host datas, and use AlwaysOn to manage data replication.
Thanks

Re: SQL Server 2012 Always on support for the VEEAM One DB
Aurélien,
Veeam ONE supports both SQL Server 2012 and 2014. I haven't heard any negative feedback on installing Veeam ONE with AlwaysOn database configuration.
As to your planned deployment, then definitely go with standalone SQL Server/remote database. Given that you're going to monitor 10000+ VMs I would also recommend using SSRS as a reporting engine for better scalability.
Thank you!

BTW, I would recommend to get in touch with our support team for assistance with this deployment. And we have a KB article that can help as well > http://www.veeam.com/kb1820
