SQL Server runtime component is needed or not in Veeam ONE ?

Hi,

I'd like to uninstall the SQL Server component on my Veeam ONE server v8.0 Patch 2, because it seems that it was used for a trial version of VeeamONE and Veeam Backup many years ago.

So is it safe to unisntall the highlighted components below without breaking the VeeamONE server ?



Because the SQL Database is now running in separate server not this one.

Hi Albert,
If you don`t use these SQL components, you can delete them. Since your current SQL is placed in another server, it should not cause any issues.

Correct, just make ensure yo do not delete components required by Veeam ONE server itself:

Software
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (included in the setup)
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (included in the setup)
....

Sure, I only delete / uninstall the yellow highlighted components only.

The highlighted components can be uninstalled.
Vitaliy just gave you additional information about essential parts of your current essential components which should not be deleted with those SQL ones. Thanks!
