This topic contains all Veeam ONE v10 regressions which resulted in 3 or more support cases created.

#1: Upgrade fails due to full DB and corrupts the database
Symptoms: Attempt to upgrade Veeam ONE to version 10 fails due to full database (10 GBs, SQL Express limitation).
When you clear up the database and perform a second attempt, the installation fails with the following error message “Cannot use DROP TABLE with ‘monitor.ExcludedEntity’ because ‘monitor.ExcludedEntity’ is a view. Use DROP VIEW”.
Cause: Database size may grow during the upgrade and reach 10 GB limit of SQL Express.
Status: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
#2: License installation failure
Symptoms: The license file cannot be installed due to the error message “License signature check failed: Invalid signature”.
Cause: Veeam ONE failed to check all the DLL files responsible for the License installation procedure.
Solution: Remove the outdated VeeamLicense.dll file from the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Veeam\VeeamLicense.dll
#3: License exceeded issue
Symptoms: Veeam ONE over-consumes instances.
Cause: There is a variety of reasons.
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
#4: After upgrade to v10 all hosts showing “Excluded by license” status
Symptoms: Veeam ONE excludes the Virtual Infrastructure objects from monitoring.
Cause: This issue is closely related to the previous one. When there are insufficient instances available to cover all the infrastructure objects, Veeam ONE excludes the whole Virtual infrastructure from monitoring.
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
#5: Backup data is not gathering after the upgrade to v10
Symptoms: Veeam ONE does not collect new data from the Veeam Backup&Replication servers.
Solution: Update credentials for Veeam Backup&Replication servers and its objects.
#6: Cannot install Veeam ONE Agent from the Monitor client console. The option is "grayed out"

#7: Suspicious incremental backup size alarm randomly triggers, resolves itself and triggers again in a short time
Symptoms: Suspicious incremental backup size alarm sends false-positive triggers.
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
#8: Veeam ONE Reporter causes high CPU usage while the Object Properties collection task is running
Symptoms: High CPU usage on the Veeam ONE server during the Reporter data collection task.
Cause: Execution of one of the storage procedures takes more time than expected.
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
#9: Veeam ONE Reporter collection task runs much longer after upgrade to version 10
Symptoms: The Object properties collection task runs several times longer than before the upgrade.
Cause: Execution of one of the storage procedures takes more time than expected.
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
#10: Veeam ONE Reporter gets logged-out after 20-30 min of inactivity
Symptoms: After upgrade to v10 Veeam ONE Reporter gets logged-out after 20-30 min of inactive time while on v9.5 it was logged-in for the entire day
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a solution.
#11: Veeam ONE cannot collect topology from the vCenter server
Symptoms: Veeam ONE Monitor Server service cannot collect topology from the vCenter server due to the following error “Error in deserializing body of reply message for operation 'WaitForUpdatesEx'”.
Solution: Contact Veeam Technical Support to get a hotfix.
