Unable to add in Hyper-V Cluster
Hi Guys,
I am having an issue trying to add in a Hyper-V Fail over cluster into the Veeam ONE Monitor. When I manually add it in, it gives an error "Veeam ONE Monitor could not connect to "Cluster Name". Specified Server is not a failover cluster"
I tried using the FQDN, the IP; I even installed the cluster manager console on that server and can successfully connect to the cluster from that server.
Tried using SCVMM - error in the log - Failed to retrieve data from Failover Cluster
Has anyone come across this issue before?
Desigan.

Re: Unable to add in Hyper-V Cluster
Hi Desigan,
Can you please tell me if you're able to add standalone hosts to the Monitor Client? Are you trying to add Windows 2012 Cluster?
Anyway information from the debug log would definitely help, so please contact our support team to investigate it further.
Thanks!

Re: Unable to add in Hyper-V Cluster
Hi Vitaliy S,
I can add standalone hosts they work fine, even if I add the SCVMM server works fine but with the SCVMM server it didn’t show any information on the Cluster shared volumes. It’s a Windows 2008 R2 cluster.
Log -
The user has full admin rights on the cluster; I'm logged on with that same user and can access the cluster manager from the server that Veeam ONE is installed on.

Hello Desigan,
Could you please let me know what version of Veeam ONE you're running? Is it v6.0 or v6.5 patch 1?

Hi Vitaliy.Mzokov,
Currently on v6.5.0.676, doesn’t mention anything about patch 1.
Does patch 1 fix this symptom?

Not really. I've seen the same error in v6.0. And it should be addressed in v6.5. Probably there is something else which leads us to the issue.Desigan wrote:Does patch 1 fix this symptom?

Yes, you're right, many things have changed since then. Please contact our support team for assistance or try to add this cluster to the Failover Cluster snap-in manually from the computer where Veeam ONE is installed.
