Hi everyrone,
Sorry to bother with that, but i have an issue.
I wanted to upgrade my Veeam 8 installation, the installer installed Net framework 4, rebooted, start the upgrade process... and then crashed and told me to restart the upgrade.
But now, when i restart the upgrade : it only sees the Web UI installed, and cannot go after the SQL check because "the specified database is invalid".
On anothed thread, i saw that i should deploy a new Veeam One instance, and then connect it to the old one.
Is it safe ? and How to connect to old database once Veeam one 9 is installed ?
Many thanks

Re: Upgrade from 8 to 9 : Crash during the upgrade
Hi Tommy and welcome to the community!
Yes, you can attach existing DB to the newly installed Veeam ONE server. It will be asked in the installation wizard if you want to create a new DB or use the existing one.
However, I would suggest contacting the support team to investigate why the upgrade went wrong.
Thanks!

Hi Shestakov, thanks for your answer.
Sorry for the "panic topic"
Issue was solved following step described here : veeam-one-f28/error-during-veeam-one-se ... 32615.html
Summary : Uninstalled everything, and then reinstalled everything using the old database.
Everything is back to normal.

Tommy, can you please send me your setup logs from %TEMP% folder (via PM), so that we could understand what went wrong in the first attempt?
