Hi,
I have a strange update problem.
On the VeeamOne server (12.3) with an external MS SQL DB on a different server - I am not able to update to VeeamOne 13.0.1.
In the upgrade dialog I select an external Postgres 17.8 server (on Ubuntu) and the rest of the settings are plain standard
Upgrade starts and runs for some time. Then STEP2, I get an error "Failed to install extension modules"
After acknowledgeing installation continues until last step. Shows ab with result partial succeded
No Postgres DB was created on the Postgres Server and the updated version is not really working
I've opend a support case, but besides "disable any AV product" there was nothing helpfull as answer
Did someone here had also such a problem?
BR
Robert

Hello Robert,
Could you please share the case # with us. To get into details we need to investigate the diagnostic information and the support case is the best place to do that.
Thank you

Hello Roman,
sure: #08019361
The first answer was not really helpfull: "Deactivate your AV solution" - We did an upgrade in our testing Environment - with activated Defender .. no problem at all.

Hello Robert,
Thank you for the case number. I’ll take a closer look together with the support engineers.
I’ve also pinged support management, just in case.
Thanks
