upgrade to Veeam One 9.5 fail

Hello,

I upgraded last week Veeam one from 9.0 to 9.5 and right after the upgrade VeeamRSS.exe won't start.
My case is open since Thursday : 01979336

When i launch Veeam Monitor, it's in free edition and even if i setup my key, it doesn't take it. (Screenshoot link in the case)
So first the support routed me to sales to generate a working key but even trial or new key doesn't work.

I don't know if license and VeeamRSS.exe doesn't start have a link but anyway my VEEAM One is down for a week now, pretty long for a severity 2 case + nobody reply...

Does anyone have trouble upgrading ?

Indeed there is an issue which is now fixed and Veeam support team has a hotfix for this problem. Feel free to refer to this issue ID 90136 (our dev tracking system) when opening a case.

last reply from the support was 17/11, is my case lost and should i open a new case to have a faster reply ?

You may escalate the existing one if case is not closed yet and you are not having a reply for a long time.

How can i escalate the existing one ? all i do is "request update" everyday.

Have you tried to use the "Talk to Manager" option on the customer support portal to escalate your case?

Ok - I'll bite... Why does the upgrade from v9 to v9.5 for VeeamOne always fail to detect the installed v9 license and prompt you to go find your license file and reinstall it, while the v9 to v95 VBR upgrade detects the existing license and allows you to just click next?

A little consistently would be nice here... Tell your two dev teams to play nice and exchange notes... In fact they should have to install each others software to ensure consistency before GA ever occurs...

You can also re-download Veeam ONE ISO image from the website, as we have updated it (keeping the same build number) to address this issue. Thanks!

This is still happening with a fresh install of Veeam ONE 9.5 with the latest ISO from your webpage on a Server 2016 Core VM.

Following the instructions below resolved the issue
