Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: v9 - Pages per second errors
Hi, I have the same problem. someone has solved it?
I have set up replicas with veeam. if I disable the replicas, the alerts stop appearing. the host where I see this behavior has 60% physical memory available.
the errors are repeated with the replication cycles
I need to know if this type of replication can affect in any way my productive vm on those hosts.
my support id is [ID# 03000404] High host page usage on veeam replication. there you can see screenshots of memory behavior
my hosts are hypver-v (2012 r2) on source and target

Re: v9 - Pages per second errors
Has anyone figured out what these alarms trigger even when there is 100GB of free memory on the hosts? Is there configurations that need to be adjusted to allow Veeam more memory access?
We are running the latest Veeam version and our Hyper-V hosts are Windows Server 2012 R2. It is a limitation with server 2012? Do users see this on server 2016 as well?
thanks
-Bill

Hello Bill,
What product version are you at?
I've reviewed the support case above and it misses an answer from the customer if suggested workarounds helped them.
Thanks!

Re: v9 - Pages per second errors
Hi Shestakov, sorry for the long delay on getting back to this. We have been running the latest builds of Veeam all year (doing updates as they are released)
We ended up raising the alarm threshold and also clicking the box to suppress certain alarms during backup tasks. We plan to upgrade our hosts to server 2019 on newer server hardware in a few months which should help since we are running 2012 R2 hosts on old hardware currently.

Hi Bill,
What threshold have you set? Does it work as expected now?
Thanks for the update.

Re: v9 - Pages per second errors
Hi, we finally got a new host with 2019 running and we are still seeing these errors. We recently moved the threshold up to 2000/4000 warning and error. Do you know if there are any Hyper-V host settings that can help give more memory for when this happens? Or any other setting? We won't be doing any off-host backups.
Example:
Alarm: Host Memory Pages Usage
Time: 11/18/2020 8:06:04 PM
Details: "Pages/sec" (4533.0 Number) is above a defined threshold (4000.0 Number)
thanks-
Bill

Hi Bill,
We would like to collect some information about this behavior and the environment. May I ask you to raise a support case and share your case ID? I'll ask support guys to take a look at it.
Thanks

Hi Bill,
Thank you.
Passed to support management. We'll assess VONE first to make sure we pull the Pages/sec windows counter correctly, then check what causes this behavior.
Thank you.

Hi,
I have a customer facing the same issue. I have asked them to open a ticket for the same. Is there any quick fix for now?

Hi Ravi,
Could you please share your case ID with us? In all the cases I've seen the alarm was triggering correctly.
Thanks
