Veeam Monitoring 7 - alarm trigger issue

Hi,

Using Veeam Monitoring 7.0.0.919, some alarms don't work properly.
For instance, when I set up the "VM CPU usage" this way: Warning = 80 / Error = 100 / Time period = 1 hour
I get an email as soon as the counter reaches 80%
Any idea, what's wrong ?

Hi Eric,
When you set a performance alarm, Veeam One analyses related data for the last period as well and calculates average index for the preset period.
In your case, if average VM CPU Usage for 1 hour > 80% you get an email notification.

By the way, we`ve released 8th version of Veeam One, there are in there. http://www.veeam.com/veeam_one_8_whats_new_en_wn.pdf
So if you are on an active maintenance, you can easily upgrade to version 7 or 8 free of charge. Thanks.

I will definitely take a look at the new functionalities of the v8 !
As I'm still on maintenance, do I need a new license file to upgrade from v7 to v8 ?
