Hello,
I notice some co9nflict between the SQL Server 2008 R2 for VeeamOne and the Veeam Monitor trying to share the memory on the same server. What is your recommendations:
SQL Server on a VM? A physical Server?
Monitor on a VM?
What about SSRS and VeeamOne Reportter itself another VM? could it share with Veeam Monitor?
Thanks,
Dom

Re: Veeam One 6.5
Hello Dom,
Can you please tell me a bit more details on the conflict you've observed? Veeam ONE can be installed on any server, physical or virtual, the same refers to SQL Server. As to SSRS then it is no longer needed, you can use built-in reporting engine.
Thank you!

Re: Veeam One 6.5
Thanks for your response Vitaly.
The conflict I noticed is if the Veeam One Monitor Service (VeeamDCS) is running the access to Veeam One Reporter is long ... over 5 minutes. When stopping this service it is seconds (3 to 10 max)
So I would like to separate SQL (which is local for now) and the Veeam One Monitor Service .
One physical machine for SQL and one VM for Veeam One Monitor Service.
Thanks,
DOm

Ok, here is the instruction on how to migrate your existing database to a new SQL Server: http://www.veeam.com/kb_articles.html/kb1599
Let me know how it works out.
