Veeam One 9.5 Update 1 - Lost reports

Post by Iain_Green »

Hi,

I completed our upgrade this morning from 9.0 to 9.5 update 1.

I appear to now have lots of new reports in the Reporter however I had setup daily reports for each of our customers showing a overview of the backup status. These no longer appear.

I have a case open 02046921, but was hoping I might get a quick response here.

Is there a way of doing a FLR and importing my old reports?

Thanks

Iain
Many thanks

Hi Iain,
Could you specify the reports you are missing in v9.5?
Thanks!

It was VM BACKUP STATUS, I see the default report exists (although it appears to have extra settings).
Yet all custom reports built off of this report have gone.
Many thanks

Thanks for the fast reply.
By design all custom reports should be preserved after the upgrade, otherwise that`s a bug which you need to investigate with the support team.
It`s not an expected behavior, so there is no UI option to restore the reports.

Only option I have found is import and export (really wishing I had done an export!).
I have logged with Support but as yet no response.

Is there a way I can do a file level restore and restore the XML file that hold the information on the reports at all?
Many thanks

Do you have a backup of SQL server?
Even if you don`t have it, the data may be not lost completely. One way or another you need to keep working with the support engineer.
I`ll ping him to give you a faster reply if possible.
Thanks!

I`ve just talked to the engineer, they are currently investigating your case.
I believe you should be fine having the backup of SQL.
