Hi,
We want to use Veeam ONE to monitor our vessels, where we use Veeam to back up our servers onboard. The issue is that the vessels only have VSAT with 1-2 Mbit speed.
I have tried selecting Veeam backup data and large-scale virtual infrastructure performance monitoring and deselected all performance metrics. Then, the data usage for a 24-hour period is 1.7 GB.
With 'Veeam Backup Data Only,' the data usage for a 24-hour period is 3.5 GB.
I have only 4 jobs and have not added the ESXi host yet.
Does anyone know how to reduce the bandwidth usage?

Re: Veeam One Highe Bandwith
Hello Kristian,
Approximately, Veeam ONE gets 1.2MB per collection iteration. We trigger it once in a minute, which results in 1440 collects daily. It is possible to decrease collection iterations using registry keys but in fact, this would not decrease a payload size, only slightly decrease transport expenses.
You may open a support case and ask engineers to provide proper registry keys.
Often, "no data" is considered an offline state, for example for proxies and repositories. Having that Veeam ONE must collect it to ensure the object is alive, even if there were no changes.
In general, could you please explain in detail which part of monitoring is required mostly in your use case: alarms, reports, performance?
Thanks
