Veeam ONE port 2741 vs 1239
Curious as to what the difference is between the ports and what they're used for? I see in Veeam ONE config, its using 2741. In IIS, it's set for 1239. Strangely, I'm able to sign into Web client via port 2741 but on port 1239, I'm getting authorization error. What determines what web client port I'm able to sign into?

Re: Veeam ONE port 2741 vs 1239
TCP2741 is Veeam internally used to connect to the Veeam Internal Web API. Used by Veeam ONE Web Services to connect to Veeam ONE Server
TCP1239 is the port a regular user would connect to to access the Web Service. (Workstation to Veeam ONE Web Service)
I would open a support ticket if you have authentication issues on the regular 1239 port.

Hello Terry,
Andreas has explained it very well. You can of course connect to the port 2741, as it is an internal port aimed for the IIS to connect. IIS in our case is some sort of reverse-proxy if you are familiar with those. IIS will handle the web traffic, SSL, you can install it separately on another server, etc.
You should not work directly with port 2741, as some functionality might not work using it, like running reports, and some others.
If you are facing an issue with auth, the best course of action is as Andreas said opening a support ticket.
In the case that you installed Veeam ONE as a workgroup, and perhaps you added it later on to the domain, this KB might be interesting for you, although not the same issue, but you know that SSL is always challenging: https://www.veeam.com/kb4310
Looking forward to see the support ticket number.
Thank you!

Does Veeam ONE support wildcard certs? We're not getting any SSL errors or certificate mismatches. I'll talk to my third party support about opening a case with Veeam.

Hello,
I can not find any explicit document saying it is not supported. I know Service Provider Console doesn't have any issues, but it will be much better to check the setup with support. Thank you!
