Hi,
We have Veeam ONE monitoring our VBR servers. Veeam ONE is on 12.1.0, VBR's are on 12.1.1. The licenses are all set to automatically update for both products.
We recently re-signed our VRA. This then triggered the licenses to update on our Veeam ONE and VBR servers.
They are all now licensed exactly as before with the new expiry date being May 2025.
Why would my Veeam ONE suddenly show that the license on my VBR is not compatible?
If the licenses are all updated automatically and the VRA renewal was handle by Veeam, how can these licenses possibly be incompatible when they we working just fine before this?
Case #07257372.
We've been told our license package is "Backup" and it must be "Suite/Essentials" to be compatible.
This does not make any sense to me when it's all managed by Veeam's licensing servers.
Any ideas what is going on?
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Veeam ONE reporting VBR license is incompatible
Hi Kevin,
If you're using a rental key, then "Suite/Essentials" packages simply do not exist. Every product is licensed separately and you shouldn't have any messages about the incompatible license key, so keep working with the support team.
The support engineer probably referred to the subscription key, which requires the "Suite/Essentials" package for the backup server to enable monitoring, but it is not the case in your situation.
Thanks!
P.S. I've given your engineer a heads-up on this, so let's see what he finds out.
