Hello Erwan,
There is no separate topic about Nagios.
Could you specify why you need to use Nagios along with Veeam One?
Thanks.

Erwan,
I`ve got it. You can find SNMP configuration in Options>Server settings>SNMP.
But why do you need 2 monitoring systems in your environment?
Thanks.

On top of that, If you want to receive these alerts in Nagios you can import MIB file from Veeam ONE.

I see your point. As was mentioned above, you can import MIB file from Veeam ONE.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: VEEAM ONE SNMP TRAP NAGIOS
Veeam One just sends SNMP "traps" to a "trap receiver".
To export logs at the bottom left corner of the Veeam ONE Settings utility, click Export Logs. Specify a location to which the exported logs must be saved.
The Veeam ONE Settings utility will export logs and save them to a .ZIP archive in the specified location.
Thanks.

Re: VEEAM ONE SNMP TRAP NAGIOS
Yes, that's correct. You need to add this action to the alarms settings. This can be done via using CTRL+A if you want to configure it for all alarms at a time. What SNMP protocol version are you using?ehermouet wrote:i have specify my host on snmp server on veeam. maybe i muste specify on each alert ?

Re: VEEAM ONE SNMP TRAP NAGIOS
Not sure I full understand that. Do you want to add Veeam ONE server name to the trap or something else?

Re: VEEAM ONE SNMP TRAP NAGIOS
Tks for reply
here is config file
EXEC /usr/local/nagios/libexec/submit_check_result $r TRAP 1 "$*"
So it's like EXEC /usr/local/nagios/libexec/submit_check_result $1;$2;$3;$4
where
# $1 = host_name (Short name of host that the service is
# associated with)
# $2 = svc_description (Description of the service)
# $3 = return_code (An integer that determines the state
# of the service check, 0=OK, 1=WARNING, 2=CRITICAL,
# 3=UNKNOWN).
# $4 = plugin_output (A text string that should be used
# as the plugin output for the service check)
#
But $1 is hostname where veeam one is come from, and not where vm or host alert come from.

Oh... so you want to see a location in the SNMP trap as well. Let me check it with the devs.

Yes, it seems like there would be a possibility to extend our SNMP trap options. Thanks!

Re: VEEAM ONE SNMP TRAP NAGIOS
This is planned for v10, but let me check again with the dev team on the state. Unfortunately, 9.5 has been locked for new features in H1.

Re: VEEAM ONE SNMP TRAP NAGIOS
Despite the mentioned chargeback, the upcoming release will work much faster, especially on large infrastructures, custom backup data report and lots of other features. As usually great amount of them are based on customers requests.Kellen.Flood wrote:As well as any other cool features other than Bill back?
