Veeam One thin provision report
I was wondering how I configure Veeam One to email if it has detected any Thin provisioned disks?
I did a quick search and the only thing I could find was this post:
http://forums.veeam.com/viewtopic.php?f ... ion#p70229
I've attempted to configure a Veeam One Reporter report as follows;
Session: Latest Collection
Scope: Virtual Infrastructure
Business View object(s): Shared
Object Type: Virtual Disk
Columns: Type, Disk mode
Custom Filter: Type is equals Thin Provision OR Disk mode is equals Thin Provision
This does not seem to work though? Has anyone any ideas as to what I can try?
Thanks,
Adam.

Hello Adam,
Have you tried using the same report template but with these parameters?
Object Type: Virtual Machine
Columns: Name, Virtual Disk: Is thin provisioned
Group by: Virtual Disk: Is thin provisioned
Should work!
P.S. you can add any other columns to make this report look nicer.

Oh dear how embarrassing!
Thanks Vitaliy!
I probably should create another thread but do you know if I can report on tags I've created in the vSphere web client and is there a document somewhere that lists all of the possible combinations that I can use?

Re: Veeam One thin provision report
1. Tags were no available through the vSphere API before 5.5 release, so currently it is possible to use them in the reports. But we are looking into adding this functionality in one of the next updates as a part of vSphere 5.5 release support.
2. Do you mean combinations of all properties available in the custom report pack? Not sure there is a need in such document, as you can literally use any available column for the defined object. Just use search for the columns you want to see in the report, should be a good place to start for building your custom reports.
If you need any further assistance, just let me know.

Hi Ali,
What report parameters did you choose? Have you tried these settings?
