Veeam One Upgrade to v9 (unsupported Veeam backup and Replic

Getting an error saying the Veeam one database has one or more unsupported Veeam B&R servers. This Product supports Veeam B&R 7 patch 4 or later.
thing is im running version 8 at the moment and want to upgrade so not sure why that error is happening.

any ideas?

What OS is running on the server where the VBRv8 is installed?
Starting from v9 WS 2003 is not supported.

so for shit's an giggles i ran the last available patch for v8 and it ran fine
i also moved the DB to a different sql server to rule that out

now im going to run the update for B&R to rule that out

Could you specify what versions of Veeam ONE and VBR are you currently at? Do you still get the error?

Veeam one is v8.3
B&R is now v9, ran the upgrade today with no error

It`s recommended to have those equally updated to get all the functionality. I have to update VeeamONE to v9 as well, since as stated in the release notes, it can`t be of the lower version than VBR. I`d try to upgrade before opening a case.

Yes, it is mandatory, because old versions of management tools such as Veeam ONE or Enterprise Manager are not aware about new versions of Veeam B&R, so you need to follow the upgrade procedure in our Release Notes document.
