Veeam ONE xls format Report removed in Veeam 13

Recently we upgraded our entire environment to Veeam 13 and Veeam ONE also upgraded. Now we don't have the option to get the report in xls format Veeam ONE 13. Only csv and pdf available. Pls let us know why you removed this option in this version? Any particular reason? We are facing multiple escalation from our customers. Pls note we are managing more than 3000 servers in Veeam backup.

Hello Ramaswamy,
Yes, in order to transition to a modern reporting we got rid of Excel and Word exports, and improved the CSV, and PDF exports. This information is documented on the Release Notes of v13 if you search by Excel

XML, Word, and Excel formats have been deprecated. Customers using these formats will now receive PDF instead of Word, and CSV instead of XML or Excel.

We removed them for multiple reasons:

• Excel, or Word Documents are usually not the best/more preferred option for Auditors, therefore we put some efforts on making PDF exports better, with all the data, etc.
• Excel reports in v12.x were inconsistent so other systems could never ingest them, as columns and rows were different, even the same report but different runs.
• We put our effort on providing a consistent, and clean CSV exports. Which opens and render perfectly in Excel, and are ready to perform Business Analytics.

If you could share the concerns from your customers, we can take it into consideration and add it to our backlog.
