Cloud Connect for Enterprise - selected image not valid

Post by sho » May 25, 2017 12:38 pm

I have just subscribed to a free azure trial in order to try out Cloud Connect for Enterprise. However when trying to create a Cloud Connect for Enterprise VM in Azure, I get the following message on the "Location" option which is preventing me from creating the VM....

"The selected image is not valid for the specified location. Select a different location".

But this error appears regardless of which location I choose.

Any ideas anyone?

Yeah I'm having the same issue.

Are you on a free trial subscription as well? I've had issues in the past with the regional dropdown throwing up stupid errors on free trial accounts...

Hi everyone,

Microsoft has pulled all Windows-based images created before March from Marketplace due to WannaCry vulnerability issue, and all publishers were asked to update and re-deploy all of their images.
We're in the process of re-deploying Veeam images with the following ETAs:

1)Veeam Cloud Connect for Service Provides (and for Enterprise) – today, exact time could depend on region you will be deploying VM in.
Right now I was able to deploy both in Western Europe region.

2)Direct Restore to Azure – later today

3)Managed Backup Portal - early next week

UPDATE: two images - VCC for SPs and VCC for Enterpise were published in Azure Marketplace on Thursday as planed, but then for unknown for Veeam reason they were pulled down again on Friday.

We are working closely with Microsoft Azure team to make all our images available ASAP.
