error when trying to import .xml from azure hub

Post by asdffdsa6131 » May 28, 2019 9:29 pm

hello and thanks for reading this,

when i try to import/load the .xml from azure veeampn hub into my site appliance, i get the followin error.

"File does not contain valid site configuration for current version of Veeam PN"

since veeam does not offer a hyper-v version of the site appliance, which is strange as azure uses hyperv and azure and windows computers can run ubuntu in hyperv.
anyhoo, i am forced to install ubuntu myself and run the script VeeamPN-installer.run.sh.
that script fails each time I try to use it but anohter forum person told me to ignore the error of
"Performing cleanup
./startup.sh: line 377: 1739 Terminated busybox httpd -f -p 80 -u nobody:nogroup (wd: /var/www/veeampn-init)
"
perhaps the two errors are related?

please advise,
thanks,
david

This error is not related to the Busybox message. Are you using v2 on both locations?

thanks for the quick reponse,

seems that the azure hub is Product version: 1.0.0.380.
but i followed the instructions from
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/veeam ... tml?ver=20

and when i click check for updates, veeanpn azure hib tells me it is up to date?

please advise,
thanks,
david

VeeamPN v2 is now live in the Azure marketplace. Could you try with this one and see if the issue is resolved?
