Had a pretty simple setup working rather well for the past weeks and all the sudden the gateway will not connect to the hub. No obvious message / error, just remains disconnected.
I have tired to download the logs via the web interface but no seeing anything relevant (probably not looking a the right place... ?)
Any suggestion how to diagnose this ? I am happy to "dig" into the Ubuntu underlying machine.
Although probably a waste of my time (as no support if provided for free products) I have opened a ticket with ref #04461863

if it's a real simple setup, then I would simply re-deploy instead of troubleshoot. As you say, it's a free product and chances are low, that support will help.
I would check whether the ports are reachable from the Ubuntu console. Sure, you can search in /var/log... - but I guess that redeploy is faster.
