Incremental backup to Azure

Post by SteveLavoie » Jan 30, 2018 1:21 am

Hi,

I have some customer whose VM are quite big (in the 2 TB range) and connectivity is limited. Is there a way to seed the restore to Azure ? Because, if I need to restore 2 TB .. I can order and receive a new server before the restore finished.

You can seed a backup to Azure VM first, using file copy utility of your choice, then, add this VM as repository to backup server, import the backup and start restoring data. Thanks.
