Post by marieelieg » May 30, 2018 8:37 pm

Hello experts,

I want to recover my VMs to Azure and want to set up a Veeam Azure Proxy. I was wondering what are the system requirements for Veeam Azure Proxies?

Thanking you in advance and have a nice day :D

I see, thx PTide.

Just one more thing, what are the other options in the Size list? and What are the best practices for them? For example, use size A for ~5 VMs recovery, use size B for ~10 VMs recovery ...

Thank you!!

The options in the Size list depend on what is available in Azure and are pulled dynamically from there, so there is no static list. Regarding proxy sizing - our QA team has conducted many tests and their conclusion is that in most cases the network will be a bottleneck, so there is no point in having beefy proxy up there (RAM and CPU are not utilized heavily for restores, while disks are not utilized at all).

Thanks
