Veeam to Azure for DR

Post by m.christensen » Jul 18, 2019 6:47 pm

Currently we are replicating all VMs to a COLO...
Want to move this to Azure...
I want to do this myself, but have not found any documentation on a the best and most cost effective solution...

Do I:
-Use COLD BLOB storage connected to Veeam as a Cloud Repository and send my Backup Copy jobs to that?
-Then Build a Veeam server (VCC for Enterprise) in Azure to manage the DR part?

Setup:
Hyper-V 2012 R2
Veeam Availability Suite (9.5 update 4)

If you want to make use of Azure Blob Storage consider creating Scale-Out Backup Repository and adding Capacity Tier to it. Direct backup to object storage is not possible at the moment. Thanks!
