We have been testing out VDC Vault in conjunction with VSPC for creating and managing customer tenants and storage vaults (seems to be working well). As was recommend to us, we have used a single subscription that VSPC then carves into multiple vault tenants, assigned vaults to VBRs that then back up direct to VDC Vault.
After adding a couple of tenants and storage vaults via VSPC and backing up a few hundred GB in each of the tenants from two VBRs, we let the end of the month roll around to see what reporting would be available that we could use for tracking storage used by each tenant. To my (somewhat) disbelief there is no actual reporting methods other than the Veeam Vault management page which shows the Tenants and their overall usage.
After lodging a case (08110621) to see if we were missing something obvious, it was confirmed that there was no way to officially export the usage page, create a summary, detailed or a scheduled report of any kind whatsoever that one would reasonably expect of a cloud storage service offering.
Please can we have some official reporting for storage usage in the VDC Vault management interface.
Specifically, can we have a report that is able to give storage usage per tenant (summary) at the very least.
A detailed report with a summary per tenant at top, then a breakdown of each tenant's vaults underneath would also be very welcome.
There also needs to be an option to schedule reports to be generated and either emailed or downloaded from the portal (same as Wasabi, Azure etc do).

Re: Feature Request - VDC Vault storage reporting
Hi Dion
Thanks for the feedback. You are correct that reporting is limited currently, the current best way to get usage is exporting from Pulse. We have some basic usage reporting into VSPC coming soon and plan to have a fully featured API and reporting suite later in the year.
Regards
Martyn

Re: Feature Request - VDC Vault storage reporting
Hi,
In my opinion, usage reporting should have been one of the first features integrated for Service Providers—well before the ability to assign Vaults. Assigning Vaults to our tenant has limited value if we cannot track and invoice usage.
This is currently our biggest roadblock preventing us from adopting Vault and is the main reason we continue using other object storage providers.
Additionally, this issue is not limited to VDC Vault. VDC 365 is in the same situation, lacking the necessary integration for Service Providers to effectively operate the solution. There is no license reporting, no alarms in VSPC, no invoicing capability, no API access, etc.
