UX issues

Post by kevin.boddy »

Hi,

Why is there no Delete icon next to all the Vaults?
I've only got a delete button next to the last Vault in the list.

The Deregister button for register Vault workloads is invisible. It's three white dots on a white background. Why can't they be black instead.

The drop-down selection box when edit Customer Settings is too small around the company organization names. It causes problems when trying click on it.

Hi,

Do I need to actually log a case for all three of these issues for someone from Veeam to acknowledge this?

Hello Kevin,
I have passed these UX/UI concerns to the responsible teams. Thank you so much!

Hi Kevin
Self-service delete is only available for empty vaults which are not assigned to a VBR, to delete vaults that contain data you need to raise a support request. I would guess only the last vault in your UI is empty which is why it doesn't appear on the other vaults but let me know if that is not the case.

This should now be fixed

Can you expand on this one a bit, are you talking about the width of the drop-down list?

Thanks
Martyn

Hi,

What do you mean by the vault must be empty? It is showing 0 TB used and I never ran a backup. I assume there is something I can't see that's causing a problem.

Thanks for fixing the deregister button.

When trying to select the customer name under customer settings, the drop-down box is too narrow. The customer name overlaps the box itself by quite a bit.
If you try click on the company name outside the box, it shows you the list of companies you can select but you can't move the mouse cursor to click on them, it just closes the drop-down list.
You have to click inside the box to be able to select the company name.
The box should automatically resize to the longest company name.

Thanks
Kevin

Is it associated with a VBR? If not and it's empty then the delete button should show. If that's the case PM me your company name and I'll investigate.

Thanks for the details on the customer select, it has been raised with the appropriate team

@kevin.boddy we have done some investigation and found that after a period of time Azure logs data to those storage accounts at which point they are no longer empty. We are looking at how to exclude the Azure logs from the empty vault calculation.
