ProgramData\Veeam\Backup

Post by jcofin13 »

Noticing ~90gb of stuff in our D:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup folder on our Repos.

Each folder in this root folder is a job name....either a backup or a copyjob.
We moved this stuff to the D drive at one point because it continually filled up the C drive but clearly its filled up our D drive now.

Is it safe to delete/purge the folders in here of old jobs that no longer exist? WE have many. Clearly when you remove a job from VBR, it does nothing to clean up this folder. I assume its fine to remove the old job folders here but thought i better ask just to be sure.

Hi jcofin13,

Yes, that's debug log files, feel free to clean up what is no longer required.

You're correct that deleting a job does not delete the debug logs, and these are safe to delete.
