We have a problem with one of our Windows RODC/Fileserver. The VSS preparation takes longer than 900 seconds.
In the past on the Windows VBR server we changed the registry key VssPreparationTimeout as described in this kb https://www.veeam.com/kb1377.
According to support there is no equivalent on Linux VBR? Is it planned to add this and other former registry settings either in a config file on the server itself or in the console ui?
I would assume other companies have similar problems and need this setting.

Re: Feature Request: VssPreparationTimeout Veeam Software Appliance ( VSA ) equivalent
Hi MarcelM,
All custom configurations for Windows Backup Server can be used on the Veeam Software Appliance using the following guide: https://www.veeam.com/kb4779
It shows how to map a registry entry to a configuration parameter.
