Hi all,
we are in the process to upgrade from version 12 to 13.
Currently we are using socket lincenses. Can we use these type of licenses for the version 13 or do we have to change these into Veeam Universal License?
Regards,
Oliver

Re: Socket Licenses still valid for VBR13?
Hi Oliver,
Yes, for a Windows-based backup server, you can still use socket licensing.
For a backup server running on the Veeam Software Appliance, you must use Veeam Universal License.
Best,
Fabian
