Import Veeamzip taken with old VBR

Post by m.costantino »

Goodmorning.
I've backupped an old VM from an old infrastructure using Veeamzip (Veeam BR 11).
The Veeamzip backup is on an USB drive now.
How can i import that Veeamzip backup onto our new VSA 13 infrastructure?
We keep our Veeamzip on some qnap shares (those qnaps are powered on only if needed).
When I try to check if I can import backups, i cannot select our new qnap. Very strange because we use the new qnap as a target repo from our new VSA 13.
Trying the import backup function only shows proxies, one immutable repository and some managed server but no qnap at all.

What am I missing?

Many thanks!

PS: If you have any other tips on moving Veeamzips pse let me know!

Hi Michelle

You can import from "Microsoft Windows servers, Linux servers, HPE StoreOnce and Dell Data Domain deduplicating storage" (Help Center).
For other repository types, such as SMB share on your QNAP, please use PowerShell: Import-VBRBackup
