Hi there,
I discovered an unfortunate limitation with SureBackup when it comes to Agent for Windows backups taken of physical domain controllers (but likely ANY physical server) that doesn't seem to be listed anywhere.
Because the physical network adapter doesn't exist in the virtual machine, the newly created Hyper-V network adapter does not get the static IP configuration from the physical adapter, and just assigns an APIPA address. Because of that, it fails isolated network matching and cannot be used to support recovery testing of my virtual machines that require a domain connection for functionality (primarily MSSQL clusters). This is the case even after accounting for the limitation of matching Agent for Windows backups to the first isolated network in the lab.
