dear friend
in document page 151 said:
Veeam Backup & Replication writes VM data to the target datastore in the Direct SAN access transport mode only if disks of a VM replica are thick-provisioned. If disks are thin-provisioned, Veeam Backup & Replication will write VM data in the Network or Virtual Appliance mode.

now is that means when select transport mode for backup proxy in direct san access the VMS disk that want get backup had to thick provision?

For target, transport mode is selected automatically during the job. If disks are thick, direct SAN will be used, if available.

1- if i get backup from a vm with thin disks during restore that vm all of traffic will be pass through esxi managment network
Hot Add proxy will be used first, if any is present. Otherwise, yes, NBD one will be leveraged.
2- if i get backup from a vm with thick disks during restore that vm all of traffic will be pass through Fibre Network
Correct, as long as there is a Direct SAN proxy present.
