Dear Veeam Team,
We are currently evaluating VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.1 and its new VCF Automation multi-tenancy capabilities as a potential platform for delivering cloud and disaster recovery services.
Today, Veeam Cloud Connect supports VMware Cloud Director (VCD) environments, allowing service providers to offer Cloud Connect Replication services where tenant workloads can be replicated directly from on-premises environments into the tenant's Virtual Data Center (VDC) within the provider cloud.
As Broadcom continues to enhance VCF Automation as a multi-tenant platform, we would like to better understand Veeam's roadmap and future integration plans.
Specifically, we would appreciate clarification on the following questions:
Does Veeam have plans to support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Automation multi-tenant environments as a Cloud Connect target platform?
Will future versions of Veeam Cloud Connect provide functionality similar to VMware Cloud Director integrations, enabling tenant VM replication from on-premises environments into dedicated tenant resources within VCF Automation?
Is there any ongoing collaboration between Veeam and Broadcom regarding VCF Automation integration for service providers offering DRaaS or Backup-as-a-Service solutions?
For service providers planning a transition from VMware Cloud Director to VCF Automation, is there any recommended strategy or roadmap guidance regarding Cloud Connect Replication services?
Are there any public roadmap items, beta programs, or technology previews related to VCF Automation support that can be shared?
Our primary interest is understanding whether VCF Automation is expected to become a supported destination for Cloud Connect Replication workloads in a manner comparable to today's VMware Cloud Director-based deployments.
Any information you can provide regarding future support plans or strategic direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Jimmy
