Hello,
We have several historical tapes that were backed up using a Veeam Backup & Replication v10 environment. We are currently keeping this server and its database running for emergency situations where we may need to perform restore operations from these legacy tapes.
Is there a way to export all tape-related information from the Veeam database to a flat file (for example, CSV or XML)?
Our goal is to decommission the old Veeam server and database while still retaining the ability to search and identify which files or data are stored on the historical tapes if a restore request arises in the future.

Re: export tape info
Hi KarelV,
Two ways, one supported one not.
Supported: Store the Configuration Backup in multiple secure locations and include it in your recovery run-book. Configuration Backup will have necessary information to bring the backup server back to a state ready for recovery.
Unsupported: Use this unsupported user solution to export tape inventory to CSV (requires MSSQL as your configuration database, but since you're v10 you must be on MSSQL)
Keep in mind, at worst even if both are lost, you can still Catalog the tapes to re-create the tape catalog. It will take awhile, but regardless of whether you have the configuration backup / exported list you will still be able to recover / rebuild the catalog in case you aren't able to access of the above sources.
