Change immutability settings

Hello,

My customer wanted to get a repository with 31days snapshot retention and immutability for the entire retention period and the configuration was implemented.
Now he wants 3 years retention period but I can't keep 3 years of immutability.

What is the correct way to manage it correctly ?

I see on documentation I can't update immutability value when it sets to entire retention period.

That means I need to create a new repository with the settings I want and then is it possible to point to the same bucket folder ?

Hi Matteo,

Unfortunately, the customer must start with a new "folder", because you cannot reuse the old one and change the retention from “for the duration of the retention policy” to “specific number of days.”

During reconnect, VB365 will detect the original setting, “for the duration of the retention policy”, and all options will be greyed out and preconfigured according to the original settings:

Yes, it's exactly what I saw during my test but I hoped there is an other way
It could be REALLY better if the default configuration when I check "Make backup immutable" is not set to "For the duration of the retention policy" because you can't change anything after creation...
Then, I also see it's not possible to set a value with powershell, I would like to be able to automate it but not possible as it is.
