To add some more information to this, I have dug it to the hotadd.attacher log file for this job and found errors relating to target permissions
Code: Select all
|An exception was thrown from thread [2944].
| WARN|VDDK logon has failed. Logon specification: [VC/ESX: [SERVERNAME];Port: 443;Login: [Administrator@vsphere.local];VMX Spec: [moref=vm-121];Snapshot mor: [snapshot-126];Transports: [hotadd];Read Only: [false]]. VMDK path: [[Datastore01] SERVERNAME_replica/SERVERNAME Clone-000002.vmdk]. Read only mode: [false].
|VDDK error: 13 (You do not have access rights to this file). Value: 0x000000000000000d
Which is really odd as this is the first time we have replicated this VM and the replication process only created these files this morning, and its not the first VM I have replicated between these clusters, and the others worked fine.
I am going to delete the replication job, delete all the files from the target data store and try again.
