#04670134 Update from 10.4854 to 11.0.0.837 fails for me

support case#04670134
Well, this is lovely, our main system was upgraded from 10 to 11 at the end of the day, and it crashed, attempted to remediy the upgrade, but doing a new install and restore the database but get the same error. Violation of Primary Key constraint PK_Creditials.onsite' cannot insert duplicate key in object. 'dbo.credentials.onsite' The duplicate key value is 8635ea6f-172a-4ac6-bf35-4c87b36e452)
The statement has been terminated. table has been successfully filled. i then cannot open veeam, the upgrade is only about 3/4 completed, i must then completely uninstall everything and start again, thankfully i have backed up data of the config, but goodness this is a surprise coming from veeam. Guess i will be trying to sort this out myself.

I was able to reinstall 10.4854 and restore the database, but cannot run backups because it shares repository servers with another location, which was successfully upgraded to 11. so my solution is going to be to uninstall everything point to a new database, do the restore, to 10,and try to locate the problem child record in this table. thanks so very much.

hello,

I had this issue upgrading from 9.5u3 > 9.5U4B -> 11 P20210507
it did failed during the V11 upgrade step.
This was due to a empty entry in the credentials list.
Since I only did a backup of the config at the begining step (V9.5u3) , I had to uninstalled evrything, make a fresh install of V9.5u4b, import backup config, re-backup it, uninstall V9.5u4B.
then make a fresh install of V11 with P20210507 , and then import backup made on V9.5u4b, and it did work like a charm.
it was at this step that I discovered that one credential entry was empty.

hope this will help others.
