Hi,
I need to create Surebackup labs offsite, in the same site as the veeam target repository. I am going to disable all copy on the local veeam server and install VB&R on the target repo and import backups to create the labs and do other restore operations. The idea is then to uninstall the VB&R server from the target server, fix up the proxy if needed and then enable the copy jobs again.
My question is, can I simply leave the target repo installation installed and with nothing configured? Will it cause any issues with the main Veeam server installation?

Re: 2 Veeam Servers on one network
You can have cold console at the remote site in order to lock traffic on remote site during "Other OS" type of restore and so on. It's common practice, in fact, and shouldn't break anything. Just make sure that both consoles are of the same version. Thanks.
