Hi,
I have 2 3par system with 2 vmware sites. I have a enterprise edition (not enterpise plus). I configure my backup proxy to connect in direct san access (FC).
The 2 3par system has TWO volumes with remote copy configured to other 3par system and ONE volume withoud remote copy.
The backup job use SAN access correctly only for VMs in NON replicated volume. For the VMs in Replicated volumes use a NBD mode.
All the volumes are exported to backup proxy.
How can solve this problem?

Re: 3PAR Direct San Access only for not replicated volumes ?
Direct SAN should work for both Remote Copy and Non-RC volumes.
Did you export the primary VLUNs to your backup system?

Re: 3PAR Direct San Access only for not replicated volumes ?
