3PAR Secondary Snapshot
Hi!
The secondary storage integration ( HPE 3PAR Peer Persistence ) is not documented in the official Veeam docs. The only informations that i found is here: https://www.veeam.com/blog/storage-snap ... eserv.html
Is there any informations about this integration over the link to the blog ? Is officially supported by Veeam ?
Thanks

Hey Diogo,
Yes, it's officially supported.
You can find a lot of information about Backup from Secondary Storage Arrays in the User Guide. Thanks!

Hi !
So, this is the question: The official Veeam documents doesn't include the 3PAR Peer Persistence configuration, the only place that this information reside is the Veeam Blog.

Re: 3PAR Secondary Snapshot
Our documentation do not include the vendor configuration usually. It is standard Peer Persistence configuration.
The reg key is not needed anymore as this option was moved into the UI as shown in the documentation link.
What do you miss in the above documentation (beside the storage configuration for Peer Persistence itself) so that we can add it ?

Re: 3PAR Secondary Snapshot
Andreas,
The documentation does not show how the configuration in the Veeam is needed to do with the HPE 3PAR Peer Persistence ( keep in mind that the HPE 3PAR Peer persistence in syncronous, different of the HPE Nimble ).
Again, the only information abou this configuration is in the Veeam Blog.

Re: 3PAR Secondary Snapshot
You need to add the 3PAR Storage to Veeam.
Then at Backup Job you need to select Peer Persistence usage if you like the processing on Peer persistence targe side. No other configuration needed. Rest is done automated by Veeam.
I have asked the documentation team to make it more clear and add screenshots for Peer persistence selection as well.
Thanks
