Hi Team,
I have a question about how Veeam works with NetApp DataOntap.
Do Veeam Backup & Replication servers and Veeam Proxy servers need to be able to communicate with NetApp SVM?
For example, in a network environment where Veeam server and NetApp SVM can not be connected directly, is it correct by understanding that backup linked with storage snapshot can not be performed?
Kind Regards,
Asahi,

Re: About the connection between Veeam server and NetApp SVM
We need to access from Backup Server (and Proxy) the CLUSTER LIF if you want to use the storage integration. SVM only processing is an open feature request.
Then it depends on the protocol you use: NFS/FC/iSCSI. Our Proxy need access to these data ports. Please see at our documentation.
