Hi Team,
I would like someone to give me some advice.
VMware offers vSAN Encryption.
https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphe ... 343A1.html
If Veeam backs up VMs that reside in vSAN encrypted with this feature, will the deduplication ratio be reduced?
Kind Regards,

Re: About vSAN Encryption VM's Backup
Hi Asahi,
Deduplication rate shall remain the same, as backup application receives decrypted VMDK data blocks and is unaware of underlying vSAN encryption magic.
/Thanks!
