Hi Guys,
I've recently tried the AIR wizard (B&R 7.0) to restore AD user accounts in our lab and I've some questions:
- Is there any option to automatically recreate the group if it does not exist anymore ?
- If not, is there a way to retrieve the group membership issues occuring (without having to browse the logs)
- Can you restore many users/groups at once ?
Thanks for your time !

Re: AIR Active Directory accounts
If you are talking about restoring deleted group objects, then yes, AD AIR allows to restore deleted groups.D2RJ2 wrote:- Is there any option to automatically recreate the group if it does not exist anymore ?

Re: AIR Active Directory accounts
Thank you for your quick answer.
Regarding my first question, I was more thinking about automatically restore missing/deleted groups when restoring a user account.
Example:
- UserA is a member of Group1 and Group2
- UserA and Group1 have been accidentally deleted
- UserA complains he has no more access to his desktop
- Admin restores UserA but does not know that Group1 is missing as well -> any option to be aware of that missing group or automatically restore this group

Re: AIR Active Directory accounts
I see. No, in this case you need to restore the group first, there's no automatic membership detection in AD AIR. Or you can restore group membership as an attribute after the user is restored and you find out that he still does not have the required access.
