Anti Virus?

Post by notesguru99 »

Hi All,

Do you install AV on your backup servers? I have a Server 2012 with attached storage and was going to install my AV and then disable on access scanning and simply schedule a scan outside of my backup windows. What do you do?

TIA

Hi

I have also an AV installed. I just excluded the repository Drives/Folders from scanning. Realtime is enabled.
No problems so far

Cheers Andre

It makes sense to at least protect the O/S - I will get it installed.

Thanks
