Hello,
I use B&R 6.5 standard with 3 esxi hosts 5.1 and Vcenter 5.
I use a single Veeam server with 1 NIC for iscsi and 1 NIC connecting to Vcenter/esxi. This Veeam server is in a
workgroup .
I use SAN backup and it works well !
But application-aware does not work with Windows VM connected to our prod. domain.
I tried various combinations with no success (clemence5-root is a AD domain admin ; "UL" is the netbios name) :

Please, include support case ID, as requested when you click “New Topic” .
As a workaround, instead of using Domainname\Username format you can try to use Computername\Username and see whether it helps.

Do my veeam server need an access to guest OS ?
Right now, it only has a network access to ISCSI and Vserver/ESXi.

Well it worked with the local administrator (Machine\administrator) but it failed with the domain admin !

The debug logs will surely explain why it didn't work with the domain account.
