Are SureBackup Sessions accessible from the REST API?

Post by JonJR »

We have a dashboard that shows VM information from vCenter and the backup status of the VMs from Veeam. I'd like to extend it to show the SureBackup status of a VM, but looking on the Restful API page (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4) I can't see any mention of SureBackup.

I know that there is a PowerShell cmdlet (Get-VSBSession) that would give me the info, but running it from a Linux Webserver is tricky!

Cheers Jon

These aren't available via the REST API from what I can see so you'll have to leverage PowerShell (maybe PowerShell Core can work).

Thanks for the confirmation. I might try PowerShell Remoting to run the cmdlet on the Veeam B&R server from the webserver
