Hi.
I'm having problems with the backup of a Linux VM: since a couple of weeks it hangs, blocking the VM (I cannot even access the console from vSphere Client) which then I need to forcibly reboot.
The only error I found is the one below:
I found different possible reasons for the CRC error, but not precisely for this Asynchronous read operation failed: is it a problem of the source disks or the target?
thanks

Re: Asynchronous read operation failed - Failed to upload di
Hi Lorenzo,
Usually this error is caused by bad blocks on the disk, so please analyse your storage hardware to resolve this issue.
I would also suggest contacting the support team.
Thanks!

on the source or destination disk? I found other replies which suggested what you said, but the error was different: unable to read file or something like that. Since this one is instead Failed to upload disk I thought it could be related to the destination storage.Shestakov wrote:Hi Lorenzo,

On the source side, since it`s read operation just after job objects are built.
