B&R server has 12 HDs

Post by readie »

My B&R server now has 12 HDs! Some are online, some offline, and some foreign.
Looking at where they are located, they seem to have been left over from past jobs, but are clearly not getting removed when the job is successful - or perhaps they resulted from failed jobs.
Can I safely delete them? I am concerned that they may be copies of live, or replica, servers HDs, so if I delete them, will the 'real' server lose one of its HDs?
Any advice?

Thanks - just to be sure, you mean using VCentre - VM - EDIT SETTINGS?

While trying to delete disks from VM via vSphere client, there are two options available for you:

• Remove from Virtual Machine
• Remove from Virtual Machine and delete files from disk

In the way I see it, Chris is referring to first one.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
